Regarding the state of peace in the region, "It is man-made conflicts that create tensions. We need to discuss to solve this problem and that one cannot exist without the other; I believe that it is necessary to emphasize that it is one nation". said the head of government.

“No more human lives should be lost in Gambella region; Even if problems arise, I have come to work to solve them through dialogue," he said.

He pointed out that the Gambella region is a region with a lot of natural resources, and pointed out that it is necessary to create citizens who understand the importance of peace in order to use the resources fairly.

Ms. Alemitu Umod, who pointed out that peace is one of the issues that will be the next focus of the region, said that our biggest work will be here.

Mrs. Alemitu stated that bringing women to leadership positions is very beneficial and said that it is possible to raise women who have been assigned to various positions of responsibility in the government since the day after the change.

For example, the mayor of Addis Ababa, Mrs. Adanech Abebe, who is working to make Addis Ababa new as its name, took the job.
