This year's green footprint sapling planting program was held today at institutions under the administration, in which senior leadership members including Mayor Kedir Juhar participated.

With this, Dredawa University Referral Hospital, the new underground railway and other institutions have planted shade, beauty, fruit and forest saplings.

At the same time, the mayor said that the green footprint sapling planting program is making a fundamental contribution to creating a beautiful and suitable city and work facilities.

He also explained that the program is helpful in providing quick and efficient service by creating a comfortable working environment.

Therefore, he said, in order to make Dredawan a comfortable and suitable residential and investment center and institutions should participate in the green footprint program to make their working environment comfortable.

He urged the institutions involved in the planting to take care of the seedlings planted.

Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf, Deputy Mayor of the Dredawa Administrative Council, said that the Green Footprint program of the administration is getting results in preventing floods.

He pointed out that government institutions and medical centers are helping to provide convenient services to the users and that the program is being implemented with special attention.

The parties involved in the plantation also stated that they participated in the plantation to strengthen the encouraging results shown in Dredawa, to strengthen development and common ties.
