It is known that there are vehicles that charge more than the estimated price due to the high number of travelers during the holiday season, said the head of the Department of Transport and Road Development Mrs. Tiblat Estefanos; He told Bisrat Radio that it is important to issue a tariff.

The official said that the zone together with the neighboring regions and districts have made preparations so that travelers do not get overwhelmed and face problems on their way. According to the current tariff, asphalt and gravel roads are calculated per kilometer. For example, they mentioned that the trip from Addis Ababa to Wolkite city is 162 Birr.

He said that we are also prepared to ensure that travelers from different areas do not face any shortage of transport and harassment in the journey to the zone. Thus, the public transport buses in the zone have been deployed to the areas where passengers are supposed to be picked up and they have said that they have left.
