However, regarding the statement given on January 28, 2015 under the title "Statement from the Government Communication Service on current affairs"; The points that the statement made are the honor of our Holy Church. history And the public relations department of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has given the following response on the key points of the statement as it is a statement that allows those who do not have complete information on the matter to have a wrong understanding by ignoring the facts.

1. Regarding the statement in the first paragraph of the statement, "The government believes that the recent separation between the fathers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church should be resolved peacefully and internally."

1.1. As far as is known, there was no schism among the Church Fathers. According to the decision of the Holy Synod, there are no blessed fathers who are known as members and are recognized as fathers of our church, but there is no disagreement.

Statement by the Government Communication Service; The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, which has the only legal personality, under the Holy Spirit, the highest body of our church, the Holy Synod, condemned and identified the individuals according to the canon, as we found it to be a statement explaining that they are still legal entities and will be recognized.

1.2. We have found that the statement issued by the government still does not accept the final decision given by the Holy Synod, which is the last superior body of the peaceful Holy Church, in its internal spiritual and administrative procedures.
