State Minister of Peace Dr. Seyum Mesfen said that the relationship between regions should be based on cooperation and law.

The Ministry of Peace, in collaboration with the Justice and Legal Affairs Office of the Dredawa Administration, held a joint discussion forum with the neighboring regions of Eastern Ethiopia and the city of Astedar.

Abdullah Beker, the deputy head of the Justice and Legal Affairs Office of the Dredawa administration, opened the forum with a speech. We must always take care of our peace. He said that what we do about peace should not happen after we are involved in conflict and violence.

He also said that there is a great need for mutual relations between the neighboring regions to bring about universal and lasting peace.

Articles related to federalism, intergovernmental relations, and intergovernmental relations were presented and discussed at the forum.

Minister of State for Federalism and Conflict Management of the Ministry of Peace, Dr. Seyum Mesef, mentioned that one of the side relations of the Intergovernmental Relations Declaration; He said that the relations between regions should be based on cooperation and law.

The Minister of State said that the federal system cannot be strong without inter-governmental relations. He said that due to the lack of strong inter-governmental relations, it can be observed that small problems expand and create violence.

He added that the regions themselves should develop a culture of resolving conflicts between regions in a peaceful way. According to the information obtained from the Ministry of Peace, some regions have made a lot of changes in this regard.
