Ethiopian Paris Olympic hero’s award ceremony .

The ceremony was held at the palace in the presence of president Sahlewerk Zewde. 
Gold medalist Tamirat Tola received 7 million birr award. Whereas Silver medalists Tsige Duguma and Tigist Assefa were awarded with 4 million birr each. Tamirat Tola also received a national heroic prize a golden medal on top of the money.

Deputy Prime Minister Temesenge Tiruneh had a discussion with Dr. Maximo Torero, Chief Economist of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. 

In their conversation; In Ethiopia's effort to modernize its agricultural system, FAO's technical and financial support is important. 

The Deputy Prime Minister on his social networking page; He said that we have reached an understanding with Dr. Maximo Torreira about the issues that can be worked with the institute to overcome the challenges in Ethiopian agriculture and to take advantage of the opportunities that exist.
