The president expressed his firm belief that "change does not come through relinquishing power, but through reforms." 

Ethiopian Athletics Federation President Assistant Commissioner Derartu Tulu on her part; Noting that she is ready to pay all the price for the development of the athletics; "I think you will see a new face" in the federation's leadership election in October or November, she said. 

She also said that she is ready to sacrifice her life if it is good for Ethiopian athletics. 

The lack of results for athletics, including the Paris Olympics; She apologized to the people of Ethiopia on behalf of herself and the federation. 

She emphasized that sports infrastructure should be focused on to restore the lost results. 

President of the Ethiopian Olympic Committee Dr. Ashebir Woldegiorgis said; Let us remember that the main reason for the decline in Ethiopian athletics is the absence of project competitions and the absence of a national team coach. 

"In the past, there were great coaches who followed the athletics," said Dr. Ashebir; He pointed out that it is a challenge to get a coach of the national team in connection with the payment. 

"Will you abdicate your responsibility as one of the main parties responsible for the decline in performance?" In response to the question, the president said; They responded by saying, "Change comes through reform, not resignation."

He also stated that the Ethiopian Olympic Committee is supporting the athletics as much as possible. 

He also mentioned that the committee is being audited and is doing its work transparently.

Finally, they announced that there is not a single member of the delegation headed to the 33rd Paris Olympic Games without law and order.
