The Ministry of Revenue and the responsible institutions provided more than 21 million birr for welfare services to the Afar region

The Ministry of Revenue and the responsible institutions have handed over 21.3 million birr to the head of the state, Awal Arba, as part of the voluntary service for the Afar region.

Of the support provided, 15.3 million was in kind support; It has been stated that 6 million Birr is used for house renovation.

Minister of Revenue Mrs. Ainalem Nguse; Since it is important to support and help the low-income sections of society; He said that the institution and the respondent institutions will strengthen this kind of activity in all parts of the country, just as we did in the Afar region.

Awal Arba, the head of government of Afar region, handed over the support to the region.  He said that we have reached here by working together to overcome our natural and man-made problems.

Customs Commission Commissioner Debele Kabeta said; He also stated that by participating in voluntary work widely, we are working to strengthen our solidarity with all sections of the society by helping the weak. 

The leadership and staff of the ministry and the responsible institutions started the home renovation program in Logia city today.
