We express our wishes to each other that the coming era will be an era of peace, happiness, health and success. This is our wonderful culture. At the same time, we explain the issues we faced in that era/year by saying "it was a good era, it was a bad era" and we thank the past era/year or we condemn it on the contrary. But we often don't realize that we are the ones who make the times good and bad.

The time/year cannot be bad or good in itself. Today, at the end of 2015 AD and the eve of 216 AD, when we look back at the year that ended, we ended it as a year of blood by doing our best to do our evil deeds in the history of our country.

My country, Ethiopia, has been saturated with the blood of her children and soaked in the blood of her children until the end of the year until now.
