Addis Ababa University political science and international relations teacher Jonas Ashne (Dr.) Abai said that the identity of Ethiopia and the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam are the mark of today's generation and the character of tomorrow's generation.

He stated that Ethiopia has the sovereign right to use the Nile River and mentioned that the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam will strengthen Ethiopia's connection with the Nile River.

The President of Kotebe University of Education, Dr. Birhanemres Thana (Dr.) said that the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is the common language of Ethiopian nationalities.

He said that the filling of the 4th round of the dam has clearly shown that Ethiopia can achieve any project even in challenges.

The Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is a symbol of our unity to overcome poverty and inherit prosperity for future generations. They said it is a sign that we will win.

They said that if we as a country have faced many challenges and are able to change like this, the whole Ethiopian should stop and see where we would have reached if we had ensured our peace together.

Therefore, the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is a project to overcome poverty, so all Ethiopians are expected to continue their efforts for the completion of the construction, he said.

ESA reported that Jonas Ashne (Dr.) said that the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is a demonstration of common development that binds countries beyond Ethiopia.
