#Ethiopia Candidates in all sectors have been announced

- For the first time in twenty-one years, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were not included in the Ballon d'Or shortlist.   

- Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was not included in the shortlist for the first time in six years.   

- Ousmane Dembel, who had a good year with PSG and the French national team, was not included in the list.   

- The 17-year-old Spanish Barcelona forward Lamin Yamal has become the youngest player in history to be included in the Ballon d'Or nomination list.   

- Brazilian forward Rodrigo, who had a successful season with Real Madrid, was not included in the nominations.   

- The organizers of the award have announced that the highly anticipated Ballon Dore Award ceremony will be held on Monday, October 18/2017.
