Tamrat Tola, the brave athlete who participated in the marathon after another athlete who was selected for the marathon was injured, not only won gold for his country Ethiopia, but also broke the Olympic record with amazing performance.

The heroic athlete Tamrat won the first Olympic gold medal for our country after the miracle of Atlet Kake Me Abera (after 24 years).

Another veteran, 42-year-old athlete Kenenisa Bekele, whom Ethiopia always praises for his work, finished the Paris Marathon in 39th place.

Athlete Deresa Ghaletam achieved a very encouraging and promising result by climbing to the 5th place.

Although the results obtained in the men's marathon today are exciting and proud, the results being recorded in Paris are not suitable for Ethiopia.

Ethiopia has won only 3 medals in this competition which is full of controversy. 1 gold and 2 silver only.

The Paris Olympics clearly indicated that the problems that have been brought to the attention of the athletics sector and all the things that have brought Ethiopia down should be examined and changed.
