Industry Minister Selaku Alebel said that more should be done to attract new investments. 

He pointed out that in order to increase the contribution of the manufacturing sector to the country's economy, it is necessary to encourage those who produce with low capacity. 

The Ministry of Industry is holding a discussion forum on the implementation of the 2016 budget plan and the 2017 budget plan. 

The minister stated that the Ethiopian industrial activity has a great contribution to increase production and productivity by allowing industries to expand in all areas. 

He pointed out that the measures taken by the government to solve the policy and strategy issues that are bottlenecks in the sector will continue to be strengthened.

In addition to the Minister, senior leaders of the Ministry of Industry, responsible institutions and stakeholders of regional and city administrations are participating in the forum.
