The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church appointed 9 bishops

2- Komos Abba Sahlemaryam Tola was named Blessed Abune Gabriel for West Showa Diocese.

3- Komos Abba Sabhatleab Hailemariam was named Blessed Abune Timoteos, Daurona Konta Diocese.

4- Komos Abba Amdemikael Haile was named Blessed Abune Elsaa, East Wolega Diocese.

5- Komos Abba Hailemariam was named as His Holiness Abune Bartholomew in Dredawa Diocese.

6- Komos Abba Tilahun Orku was named Blessed Abune Ephraim in Buno Dele Diocese.

7- Komos Abba Zeteklehimin Gebre Btue Abune Epifanyos was named in Horo Gudru Diocese.

8- Komos Father Stephen Gebre was named as Abune Daniel in West Welega Diocese.

9- Komos Abba Wolde Gabriel Abebe was named Abune Nikodimos and was assigned to East Hararge Diocese.
