"Today, we visited the construction stage of Shebellei Resort, which is part of the project for future generations, which is being built under the initiative of the honorable Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia and the president of our party, Abiy Ahmed (Dr.).

The construction of the Shebelle Resort, which started in the Shebelle District of Fafen Zone, 25 km from Jigjiga, took 10 months, and it has 8 modern villages for tourist attraction, 3 man-made dams, 13 km of concrete asphalt construction for the village, and the complete infrastructure of water, electricity and telecom has been completed.

I believe that the project will create employment opportunities for the local community and revitalization of the city, as well as creating regional economic ties.

In particular, when the road projects under construction from Berbera to Wuale, from Jigjiga to Djibouti are completed, it is expected that they will make Jigjiga a major tourist destination, combined with Shebelle Resort.
