Ethiopians living in Saudi Arabia

They donated 21 million birr for reconstruction

#Ethiopia The Ethiopian Embassy in Saudi Arabia announced that members of the Ethiopian diaspora living all over Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh and Jeddah, have collected 21 million birr in financial aid in response to the national call for humanitarian assistance and reconstruction for those who were injured and displaced from their homes and are in difficult situations following the conflict in the northern part of Ethiopia.

Ambassador Lencho Bati gave a certificate of appreciation to the Diaspora members and organizations for their outstanding participation in the summation and appreciation program held at the Ethiopian Embassy in Riyadh.

The Ethiopians living in Saudi Arabia expressed their gratitude and respect for the kind support they gave in this difficult time.

The Ambassador called upon the citizens to strengthen their support for the reconstruction and humanitarian work that is being carried out on a large scale and in accordance with the peace agreement reached in Pretoria.

Ethiopians who participated in the program expressed their support for the signed peace agreement.
