Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe stated that the way the religious leaders of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church solved the problems that existed between them is an example for the people and the country.

The mayor posted her message of thanks on her social media page, indicating that the dispute between the fathers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church was resolved through dialogue and discussion.

In their view, "Ethiopia is a land of promise; "Fathers, we thank you for solving the problem that arose in a way that will be an example for the people, the country, and all of us, and for fighting a battle that history will not forget," he said.

Mayor Adanek, who stated that the reconciliation of the fathers brought them double happiness, said, "Thank the Creator for everything that has happened."
