In order to achieve Africa's sustainable development goal, it is necessary to make quality education accessible to the citizens of the continent, said President Sahlework Zewde.

A discussion was held regarding the policy report being made to improve the fair education system of the continent from 2016 to 2025 in collaboration with the African Union and UNESCO.

The President of Sierra Leone, Julius Mada Bio, Director General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, and representatives of other countries also participated in the discussion.

President Sahlework Zewde; In his message on the same platform, he stated that the quality of education in Africa is not fairly accessible and will have a negative impact on the lives of the next generation of the continent.

He said that in order to achieve Africa's sustainable development goal, making quality education fairly accessible to the citizens of the continent is a fundamental issue.

He mentioned that among the important and basic issues for human beings are knowledge, wisdom and skills and emphasized that a quality education system should be implemented in order to continue the next development of the continent.

They mentioned the need to modernize the education system to make the future lives of the continent's citizens better. ESA reported that one out of 5 African children is out of school and said that in order to overcome poverty and realize a prosperous Africa, we should work to ensure quality and fair access to education.
