The airline prioritizes the safety of customers

#Ethiopia Hana Atnafu, the head of communication of the airline, said that Ethiopian Airlines prioritizes the safety and comfort of its customers.

He pointed out that every citizen should protect the national pride of Ethiopian Airlines.

It is recalled that the airline canceled and postponed flights due to the recent foggy weather to protect the safety of passengers.

Hana Atanafu, the head of communication, stated that the airline is an international standard, ethical and quality air transport service provider.

He also mentioned that it is a veteran institution that has many successes in the work it does.

Considering this, since yesterday alone, 42 international flights were unable to land at Bole International Airport due to the recent foggy weather, so they have been diverted to nearby airports for the safety of customers.

Domestic flights have also been disrupted due to the bad weather.

For example, they recalled that two planes that had traveled to Mekele on the domestic flight schedule yesterday afternoon returned to Addis Ababa without being able to land.

They stated that the plane that was preparing to make a third flight to Mekele was canceled before taking off from Addis Ababa because the weather was a threat to safety.

He explained that some individuals who were on the plane at the time had acted inappropriately in relation to the cancellation of the flight, which was against international aviation safety guidelines.

He stated that the airline is an institution that strictly implements international aviation procedures and pointed out that such inappropriate activities should be corrected and any passenger should respect the procedures.

He mentioned that when there are holidays, the airline is providing services by allocating additional and larger planes to meet the needs of travelers in addition to the services provided.

For example, ESA reported that the airline is making up to 11 flights a day to Mekele for the Ashenda holiday celebrated in the Tigray region.

He pointed out that Ethiopian Airlines has established a complaint desk in all terminals to respond to customer complaints.
