Sultan Ahmed Alimirah said that it is necessary to support the works started to ensure sustainable development in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 15, 2016 (FBC) All the Afar people, Sultan Ahmed Alimirah, said that we should jointly support the works started to ensure lasting peace and development in Ethiopia.

The 15th Afar Sultan Ahmed Alimirah, the son of the famous Sultan Alimirah, returned home today after a stay abroad.

According to Sultan Ahmed Alimirah's comments, peace should be ensured in order to bring the development and investment activities started in Ethiopia to the brink.

He asked Ethiopians to strengthen their unity and stand for peace and support the development works that have been started.

He mentioned that there have been many improvements in all fields by the new government, including the production of crops in the Afar region.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) also stated that he supports the work being done to achieve lasting peace and development.

He pointed out that even after the independence of Africa, colonial borders were allowed to continue in many African countries, which deprived Ethiopia of its sea gate.
