Addis Ababa, Africa has hope to get rid of its dependence on oil, environmental protection experts said.

Currently, the continent is 52 percent dependent on non-renewable oil energy, the experts said, and expressed the hope that the dependence on oil can be reduced by using its natural resources such as the sun, wind and gas.

It was stated that the African Ministers Conference held recently in Addis Ababa discussed joint solutions to prevent climate change and reduce plastic pollution.
