Sidama region provided financial assistance of 1 million birr to Donna Francis

Donna Francis, who was born and raised in the United States of America and now lives in Dore Bafeno village, has given financial support of 1 million birr.

The head of the Sidama region Mr. Sadha Ledamo visited Dona Francis who lives in Dore Bafeno village not far from Hawassa city.

Donna came to Ethiopia in 2000 according to the Ethiopian calendar and has been engaged in taking care of orphans and other charitable works. It is to be remembered that ETV contacted the individual a few days ago and made a report that they are facing problems due to various reasons.

Donna, who was born and raised in America, said that she wants to spend the rest of her life with the Sidama community.

The head of the state has given Dona 1 million birr in financial support. He further assured that the state government will provide the necessary support.

The Head of Government said that Donna, who tried to change many people during her days of power, lived without limitations of race and faith and lived with humanity.
