5 thousand 606 schools were built in Oromia region in the last six months

#Ethiopia The Oromia Regional Education Bureau has announced that 5,606 preschools have been built in Oromia region in the last six months.

According to the deputy head of the office, Mr. Girma Baysa told Fana Broadcasting Corporation, it is planned to receive and teach 11.3 million students in the current fiscal year.

He mentioned that there are currently 10.6 million students in the region.

He said that coordination is being done to increase the number of pre-normal schools in the region so that students can attend their studies properly in the classroom.

According to this, in the last six months, 6,000 pre-formal schools have been planned and 5,606 schools have been built.

The chief explained that 5 thousand 522 of them are currently providing services.

He mentioned that the region's investors, religious institutions, residents, government employees and other stakeholders participated in the construction work.

He also said that he will work in coordination with all Kebele Farmers' Associations and cities in the region to build pre-schools that are appropriate for the season.
