The Addis Ababa City Administration has completed 51 gymnasium projects with special focus on youths.
Today, Deputy Mayor Adanech Abebe and Addis Ababa City Council Speaker Zerfeshwal Nikuse, State Minister of Defense Construction Sector Getachew Hailemariam, Addis Ababa Sports Commission Commissioner Belay Dejen, veteran athletes, coaches, sports families and senior officials of the city administration, stakeholders The stadium has officially opened in the presence of bodies and locals.
According to Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abebe, the city administration has been able to start long-term sports development projects by solving long-standing questions of the youth and sports family.
Ras Hailu International Swimming Pool and 51 other sports facilities will be of great benefit to the country for the development of sports and replacement athletes, he said.
“Sports is a sector that has introduced Ethiopia to the world stage and is a major source of income,” Adanech Abebe said, adding that all should work hard to ensure Ethiopia’s prosperity.
France’s Gassion Café, Nose Multipurpose Field, Ras Hailu International Swimming Pool and 51 other sports facilities were completed and reopened today.
Peacock Park New Zoo Park officially inaugurated.
The park was inaugurated in the presence of Deputy Mayor Adanech Abebe and Deputy Mayor, Tiratu Beyene, State Minister of Defense, Getachew Hailemariam, senior city officials, stakeholders and local residents.
Deputy Mayor, Adanech Abebe, said the construction of the center at this high level of ecological and zoo center is one of the initiatives to make our city a tourist destination.

The park is home to more than 53 species of black gopher, lion, baboon, deer and more than a dozen other species.
Peacock Park was built by the New Zu Park Defense Ministry of Construction.
